Blake starts out season with Doha, Shanghai meets

BRUSSELS (AP) — Yohan Blake, the 2011 world champion in the 100 meters, will start out his Diamond League season in Asia with meetings in Doha, Qatar and Shanghai in May.

Blake is expected to be Usain Bolt's toughest challenger in the 100 and 200 at the Aug. 10-18 world championships in Moscow. Blake will test his 100 speed in Doha on May 10, the opening day of the IAAF's Diamond League season, before going into the 200 in China on May 18.

The first confirmed Diamond League race for Bolt is the Bislett Games in Oslo on June 13.
