MANCHESTER, England (AP) — England has won the toss and chosen to bowl first under blue skies in the second one-day international against Australia at Old Trafford.
Kevin Pietersen will open the batting for the hosts, who have selected an inexperienced bowling lineup Sunday with the 2015 World Cup in mind. Australia, coming off a 3-0 loss in the Ashes test series, retained the side that beat Scotland in a ODI series warmup on Tuesday.
The first match in the series was washed out Friday without a ball being played at Headingley.
