Italy pick 2 uncapped players for autumn tests

MILAN (AP) — Italy's 30-man squad for the autumn rugby tests next month against Australia, Fiji and Argentina include uncapped Perpignan flyhalf Tommaso Allan and Benetton Treviso center Michele Campagnaro.

Captain and No. 8 Sergio Parisse (98 tests), prop Martin Castrogiovanni (98) and lock Marco Bortolami (97) have been included, with all three likely to reach the 100-cap mark. Lock Quintin Geldenhuys has also made the squad after missing the first training camp with an eye injury.

Italy plays Australia in Turin on Nov. 9, Fiji in Cremona a week later, then the Pumas in Rome on Nov. 23. The squad will meet up in Turin on Sunday.
