3rd downhill training at Val d'Isere canceled

VAL D'ISERE, France (AP) — The third World Cup downhill training session at Val d'Isere was canceled because of poor weather conditions on Friday.

The International Ski Federation said the jury took the decision because of fresh snow on top and warmer temperatures lower down the hill. The race is scheduled for Saturday, and a giant slalom on Sunday.
