Hoffenheim signs Ghana midfielder Acquah

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — The Bundesliga club Hoffenheim has signed Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah from the Italian side Parma.

Hoffenheim says the 21-year-old player signed a four and a half year contract. Acquah is the third addition to the squad in the January transfer period, after Luis Advincula and David Abraham. Hoffenheim is 16th in the Bundesliga and seeking to avoid relegation.
