Stuttgart signs Sercan Sararer for next season

STUTTGART, Germany (AP) — Stuttgart has signed Turkey midfielder Sercan Sararer from Bundesliga rival Greuther Fuerth for next season.

The 23-year-old Sararer has agreed to a four-year deal starting on July 1. Stuttgart sporting director Fredi Bobic says "Sercan Sararer is a player that will open up new possibilities for us in attack."

Bobic tells the club website that Sararer is still "relatively experienced" despite his age and "has also gathered international experience from his step up to the national team." Stuttgart signed midfielder Alexandru Maxim from Romanian club Pandurii Targu Jiu on Thursday. The 22-year-old Romania international signed a deal through June 2017.
