Dan Gosling admits to FA betting charge

LONDON (AP) — Newcastle midfielder Dan Gosling has admitted to a Football Association misconduct charge in relation to multiple breaches of betting rules.

The FA says Gosling has requested a personal hearing, with a date yet to be set. No details of the case have been revealed. Players are prohibited from betting on matches in competitions they are involved in or have any influence over.
