Bartoli recalled to Fed Cup team to face Germany

PARIS (AP) — Marion Bartoli has been recalled to the Fed Cup team by France captain Amelie Mauresmo, nine years after her last selection.

Bartoli fell out with former captain Nicolas Escude and was left off the team because of her independent coaching setup with her father. However, weeks of talks have seen Bartoli, ranked 10th in the world, reach a compromise with Mauresmo and the federation.

The rest of the team is composed of Pauline Parmentier, Kristina Mladenovic, Alize Cornet and Virginie Razzano. France faces Germany on Feb. 9-10 in Limoges.
