CHARLEROI, Belgium (AP) — Serbia lost both reverse singles matches to Belgium on Sunday after it had already qualified for the Davis Cup quarterfinals earlier in the weekend.
With top-ranked 1 Novak Djokovic sitting out Sunday's meaningless matches, Belgium took full advantage with David Goffin beating Boris Pashanski 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 and Steve Darcis defeating Nenad Zimonjic 6-2, 6-2.
The 2 losses left Serbia with a 3-2 victory to advance. Serbia will face the winner of the match between Brazil and the United States.
