PARIS (AP) — France coach Philippe Saint-Andre has made three changes to play Samoa on Saturday in his team's final test of the year.
Clermont hooker Benjamin Kayser will make his debut, while scrumhalf Maxime Machenaud is replaced by the experienced Morgan Parra and loosehead prop Thomas Domingo starts in place of Yannick Forestier.
Brice Dulin has recovered after slightly injuring his thigh in last Saturday's win over Argentina. After victories over Australia and Argentina, France needs to beat Samoa to remain fourth in the rankings and be among the top four seeded teams for the 2015 World Cup when the draw is made next month, likely avoiding the southern hemisphere sides in the group stage.
__ Lineups: France: Brice Dulin, Wesley Fofana, Florian Fritz, Maxime Mermoz, Vincent Clerc, Frederic Michalak, Morgan Parra; Louis Picamoles, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Yannick Nyanga, Yoann Maestri, Pascal Pape (captain), Nicolas Mas, Benjamin Kayser, Thomas Domingo.
Reserves: Dimitri Szarzewski, Yannick Forestier, Vincent Debaty, Jocelino Suta, Damien Chouly, Maxime Machenaud, Francois Trinh-Duc, Yoann Huget.
