Bus crash in Croatia injures 37 people

ZAGREB, Croatia (AP) — Croatian authorities say a bus carrying Bosnian students has swerved off the road and overturned in central Croatia, injuring 37 people.

They say the bus slid off the highway into a ditch early on Tuesday. Emergency crews had to cut through parts of the bus to reach the injured. Police say none of the passengers is in life-threatening condition, though two people have been kept in a local hospital with serious injuries.

The students were returning home from a trip to Austria. More than 50 people were in the bus.
