SYDNEY (AP) — Police in Australia say a 20-year-old British tourist has died after falling from a waterfall west of Sydney.
Police said in a statement Monday that the man was walking with friends at Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains when he slipped over the edge of the fall on Sunday. Police retrieved the man's body on Monday, but did not release his name.
A witness told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio that the man fell 100 meters (328 feet). Wentworth Falls are 95 kilometers (59 miles) west of Sydney.
