England center Billy Twelvetrees has been called up by the British and Irish Lions as injury cover.
The Lions have concerns over the fitness of flyhalves Owen Farrell (dead leg) and Jonathan Sexton (hamstring), while center Manu Tuilagi picked up a knock in Saturday's win over Queensland Reds. Twelvetrees, who was on tour with England in Argentina when he received the call-up, can play at No. 10 or in midfield.
He won his fifth cap for England in Saturday's 32-3 win over the Pumas. Twelvetrees is the fourth player summoned as injury cover, after loosehead props Alex Corbisiero and Ryan Grant and Ireland wing Simon Zebo.
