Australia makes 3 changes to pack for Ireland game

DUBLIN (AP) — Australia has made three changes to its pack for Saturday's autumn international against Ireland as Ewen McKenzie's team goes in search of back-to-back wins for the first time this year.

Sekope Kepu replaces Ben Alexander at prop and Scott Fardy returns from a neck injury to slot back in as blindside flanker. Rob Simmons, who played No. 6 in the 50-20 win over Italy last Saturday, reverts to his usual position in the second row, with Sitaleki Timani dropping to the bench.

The Wallabies have lost eight of their 12 matches in 2013.

Team: Israel Folau, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Tevita Kuridrani, Matt Toomua, Nick Cummins, Quade Cooper, Will Genia; Ben Mowen (captain), Michael Hooper, Scott Fardy, James Horwill, Rob Simmons, Sekope Kepu, Stephen Moore, James Slipper. Reserves: Tatafu Polota-Nau, Benn Robinson, Paddy Ryan, Sitaleki Timani, Liam Gill, Nic White, Christian Leali'ifano, Joseph Tomane.
