Porto beats Pacos Ferreira 2-0 in Portugal

LISBON, Portugal (AP) — FC Porto beat visiting Pacos Ferreira 2-0 to remain unbeaten in the Portuguese league on Saturday.

Porto's 11th win through 14 rounds lifted it level on points with Benfica before the league leader plays Moreirense on Monday. Left back Alex Sandro gave Porto the lead two minutes after halftime with a cross that ended up falling in the net.

Marat Izmailov went on in the 58th and sealed the victory with a goal in the 78th from a pass by fellow substitute Kelvin. Pacos Ferreira remained in fourth place with its second defeat of the season.

On Friday, Sporting Lisbon beat Beira Mar 1-0.
