PRAGUE (AP) — Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek will team up again for defending champion Czech Republic in next month's Davis Cup match against Switzerland.
Berdych and Stepanek gave the Czechs the title for the first time as an independent nation by beating Spain 3-2 in the final in November in Prague after playing both the singles and the doubles. Lukas Rosol, who upset Rafael Nadal in the second round of Wimbledon, and Jiri Vesely are also on the Czech team for the first-round World Group match in Geneva on Feb. 1-3. Switzerland will be without Roger Federer, who is skipping the match.
